Whats a good starting point for pinions with the stock spur for 17.5 blinky class on a small to medium indoor carpet track? Thanks.

Can we get some team guys to get on this fourm and talk about the car? I would like to hear from the guys that have already raced the car or have information on performance.

Thats a lot of car for USGT but I am not one to judge. I like nice things too. I like this but I just invested in something else that I want to try first.

Can anyone of the team guys tell us how did the car felt in reedy? The track was quite slippery and how did the car behaved?

The car was very stable. Had plenty of rear grip while not sacrificing steering. Even tho there was low grip at the reedy race my car did not have a feeling of being loose. My fastest laps times in mod were close to the invite guys. 15.4s-15.8s.

For asphalt, will the stock box setup be good or what would you suggest we need when getting it ready. I will be racing 17.5 TC

Springs
Shock oil

I will be racing the Wildfire at the on-road nationals. My Gen Xi is money at Leasure Hours Raceway.

I would start with my setup from reedy. Me and Dave were running basically the same setup and it worked very well!

Front Setup:
3rd from most inner hole
outer most hole on lower shock mount
40wt oil
hole drilled in shock cap
25% rebound
1.24mm swaybar
xray ecs drive shafts
.5mm wheel spacer
2mm spacer in back of arm for wheel base thick up front
2mm shim under inner link
0 shims under arm mounts
VBC Pink spring
-2 camber
6 droop
5mm ride height
Gear Diff 300,000

Rear Setup:
3rd front inner most hole
outer most hole on lower shock mount
35wt oil
hole drilled in shock cap
25% rebound
1.20mm swaybar inner mount position on arm
2mm shim under outer link
2mm shim under inner link
all shims forward on rear wheel base
0.5mm shim under front and rear block
VBC Blue spring
-2 camber
2 droop
5.25mm ride height
Gear Diff 1000

Took 2 screws out of top deck behind spur gear (helped rear end flex more)
Protoform LTCR Body
body roof height just slightly higher than ROAR Rule

I would start with a spool in the front tho. Thats the only thing I would change to start
