Interested in the Wildfire but, the parts support does not look that great... I live in Canada and noticed one part available at Amain and none at CRC..? Can someone point me in the right direction..

It's a great car, but you will definitely need parts support! I really think they need to do something about their plastics. I'm going to have to put my wildfire on the shelf until they can get the plastics right. Their parts are just too expensive to replace at this rate.

Well, I ended up qualifing 9th and finishing 10th. I was in the top 5 during the main, but caught up in someone else's wreck and dropped back. I was qualified 2nd after 2 rounds, and 3rd after 3 rounds, but the fourth round was very fast and I chose that round to blow out.

We learned alot about the car in Vegas. The problem is that sometimes you learn by making wrong choices on setup and that is what I did. This car is very fast, and I am looking forward to the next race to show what we learned.

Also I want to mention Patrick Morehead who qualified 4th and finished 5th in the Spec Gran Touring class. Great job!!

The VBC Wildfire is showing to be a great car, at the IIC I qualified 5th in 13.5 tc and finished fourth. Not bad for my first big race with Tc rubber tire!
I will be posting my setup soon from Vegas!

Good job Dumper and Knappy....Cars looked good all week long! This may have been the toughest spec field in years to make. It was so close due to the fast layout!

Pete,

There are wheel spacers to widen the cars at the axles. They don't have to be VBC parts. TOP makes them in different colors as well as Hot Bodies. Some are .5mm on up to 1mm per shim. Pretty simple concept.

Widing the nose of the car takes sensitivity away and makes the car easier to drive while leaving the rear narrow... like Brian did on his setup.

i purchased the Green Radiopost servo, got quite the deal,
does anyone think it might have too much torque for the Wildfire?
it seems a lot 249oz. @6V / 305oz. @7.4V
just curious.

Not if your touring car is a truggy! Your servo should be in the 100oz. - 150oz. range. The speed is what's important. .06 - .12 sec is a good range.
