the spring clip retainers on the dcj are tight, but do fit, you just need to put one end in the hole and then gently work the clip around until it slips into the other hole. It does take a little coercion and force, but it does fit without any expanding or damage.

The new floating servo mount is available now.

The Green alloy upgrade set includes all bulkheads, shock spring collar and shock bottom cap. It DOES NOT include:
  • steering assembly
  • lower suspension mounts
  • shock bodies
  • alloy spool centre
  • layshaft

Hope this helps.

Nexus is my LHS, so feel free to send them your money.

Serpent spur gears should work as well (RW, Xray, and Serpent are all interchangeable on my S411).

I just talked to CRC today and they have yet to receive the new mounts from VBC. They say they are on order.

Just installed the new graphite bumper top plate. Looks pretty sweet.

The theory behind the center servo mount... the stock servo mounting locations increase the stiffness of the classis as mounting the servo in this fashion makes it sort of like a brace on the chassis. The center servo mount raises the servo off of the chassis and mounts it at the center of the chassis, so the chassis can flex equally on both sides.

Whether it truly makes a difference, I'm sure about 0.2% of drivers will notice.

It allows you to remove the servo mounting nub from the left side of the chassis so that the car can roll evenly from side to side. It also makes chassis flex more equal
