I'll 2nd that notion.

It didn't like getting wet though.

We'll see what this weekend holds. The weather is horrible so outdoor racing will probably not happen.

The length is equal to a Xray 50mm bone. Both of the dcj's you listed will not work because the ball size that goes in to the spool/diff is much smaller.

Hmm forgot to counter sink a hole....that sucks..Im sure you could counter sink it yourself without to much trouble just find a drill bit that fits the countersunk holes nicely and drill slowly....

CRC has all the parts on their website. On the left side click on "VBC racing products". Then click on "VBC wildfire parts" up top in the middle.

Thanks Ron, end to end, the axles seemed like a fit, but the showstopper is the ball size. Wouldn't want a wobbly axle to rip up the diff

will be running my wildfire in its first race this Saturday and am looking forward to see how it/I will do

If you dont want to bother CRC go to your local hardware store and buy a counter sinking bit. Always a good tool to have anyway.

I'd personally bother CRC unless you feel 1000% comfortable counter sinking a hole. It's a mistake fix it right unless you have full access to the proper tools already.
