I'm pretty sure if my car didn't turn Green after the torture test I put it though that isn't gonna work either.

Either way I'm holdin out for a black option kit!!!!
Your driver did give the car its stress test and I thought it was slightly turning a few shades of green in the beginning but at the end lost that green tint it had.

well it's about time.
I am currently putting my car together.
A bit over zealous and didn't read the book...
Shocks built up fantastic....very very nice. Zero piston free-play.

Note for all...build tip #1
when putting the plastic blades on the rear bones, slide the Pin thru the blade and thru the bone end then tighten the set screw.
A big plus to the car...No more over extending the blades or hurting finger tips like other brands..trying to fit the blade over the pin.

build tip #2
10mm grub screw for shock (on arm) do not over tighten it may strip. When it stops with minimal force...Then stop turning..

build tip #3
This is absolutely Not necessary...but a nice way to free up new steering knuckles fast
used super fine grit paper and sanded/polished the steering knuckles (top and bottom), literally 2 seconds per side. That's it.
again 2 second..period..just smoothing, no more or you will create slop.

ie. kit c/f to the 1K c/f?

Front shock tower kit is part no: 1142
1K frt shock tower is part no: 1230

Thanks...

I've Been using AE green slime on all my shocks and gear diffs. Never get any leaks. I'm sure there are other brands that work well too.

From what I heard it is a lot stronger and I think a little thicker graphite but I'm sure Dumper will post if he sees this.

1k carbon is a little stiffer, but it is not thicker. If anything it is a touch thinner.
