How is the plastic on the car? Is it a pretty fragile car? Or too soon to tell?

I have not run enough yet to 100% tell but I did take a medium hit and had no problems.

Nice to see this thread heating up some.

Hey Brian!

Good to hear you're having good luck with the new ride already. That's good news coming from you considering, I think, you've had every TC on the market now.

I just got my car on Saturday around noon time and spent a little of last night putting it together. The quality is definitely very nice and I love that deep gun metal color. I only have the front suspension and shocks to go and I'll have a completed car. Not sure how soon I'm gonna run it as I still have my share of 8th Nitro races to hit. Then it'll be onto the rug at Horsham.

Yeah I have had a lot of cars. I would like to make the race at T&L this week but then again I would like to go to MRH and Colisium as well. Damn I can't do all three on Sat.

Overall the car nice to build. Only problem is depending on what spur gear you run you might need to do a little mod. Also if your running a 96 spur for 17.5 you will need one like the RW spur with the bigger holes so you can get to the back motor screw. Kinda a pain in the ass like most touring cars in 17.5. Might not be a big problem in 13.5 but since I didn't run I can't help you their.

I love the new green parts but I was thinking of just getting the shock pieces in green if I can just to add a little bling. I always wanted green anodize. I really think you will like the car and will do well with it. It has all the adjustments needed to be a top end car. Price is excellent for non sponsored racers to as it is one of the more lower price range cars out.

I'll be watching this thread closely. Our local onroad starts in a few months so I need to find a car. Last year was my first time running TC and I ran a tc6. Most people local run either AE or X-ray. But this car looks nice so I wouldn't mind trying it out. How does it compare to AE? I never had any issues with my AE to speak of.

Dave Ehrlich is running the car up there, feel free to talk to him and check out his car, so you can see everything up close. Most of us are just getting our cars and starting to get them on the track. So stay tuned!!

From the pictures I've seen of the this car. I would expect the quality to be that of a higher end TC hopefully like an Xray.
Anyone Agree??

I've read this entire thread. I'm thinking about selling my newly converted Exotek TC6.1 to buy one of these badboy's....

It makes the tc6 look like a toy...and I promise that once you get it no longer will you use xray as the benchmark for high end tc car....

Where is the car produced? Anyone know?

edit: Just read the instruction manual. I really like the way its built. What material are the turnbuckles made of? Also what size are the ball connectors? 4.7mm?

Turn buckles are aluminum. Not sure on ball connectors.

This was the first car I ever built where I could just use a turnbuckle wrench and hand tighten all ball ends. I built over 100 plus kits and never had ones go on by hand. They just threaded on so nicely.
