Until Ronald loses outside I say he is the odd's on favorite right now. I think Alex might have something for him though.

Will be interesting, and all it takes is for one of them to have a bad weekend...

At the Euro's last year Hagberg had the faster car, but Volker had the consistency in quali and consequently the grid position for the finals

Ronald was a bit "out of sorts" by his own very high standards last year. Victor took the win which probably took quite a few people by surprise.

The track apparantly has a new surface, but depending on if there has been any changes around the outside of the track it may not matter. Last year the track surface was ok, it was suger watered and traction was "ok". The problems came when the wind got up, and the sand from the hockey pitch next door blew all on the track!

They play hockey on sand over there? They could at least have the decency to play beach bolleyball instead, then no one would notice the state of the track...

Conditions are sunny but windy and no grip. There tried to do something with the track but it hasn't worked.

Sugar water + Dusted with sand, Yeah that doesnt sound like the way to make a TC handle.

Sounds like they need Pressure wash + Dry time+ fresh Sugar water.

How big is that track anyway? It looks maybe 220x90.

It's not going to matter what is done to the track due to the elements. It sounds like it may be time to put it in another location though.

Sounds like they need to move the hockey.

I know it doesnt count for much but the track is pretty.

Seem to recall that the grip was crap last year as well. Everything around it is sandy and dusty and it's fairly open to the wind;

It's a nice track, and I'd have liked to have gone again this year, but stuff didn't work out. Like I said, the grip was pretty reasonable until the wind got up last year. IIRC it wasn't bad Thursday and Friday, then Saturday afternoon the wind got up, and the laptimes went with it!
