Is there any way to return the bladders to their normal size after they have become swollen with shock oil? It becomes harder to rebuild the shocks when this happens and I don't wanna have to spend 9 bucks on a set of xray bladders every time rebuild them.

All bladders apparently swells after a while.

Just changed them, now I know why I buy AE cars and not Xrays

It probably isn't the shock oil causing them to swell. More likely it is whatever chemical you are using to clean the shocks with. In airsoft we use silicon oil as a lubricant specifically because it will not cause the rubber seals to swell while other chemicals will. Same in paintball where in my gun I have to use Dow33 grease instead of Dow55 because Dow55 causes some swelling where Dow33 does not. After being involved in airsoft and paintball I re-evaluated what I was doing with shocks and noticed that spraying out the shocks with motor spray would cause the o-rings to swell.

I haven't had bladders swollen on me except for when I used motor spray to clean them, they swell a lot.

So if you're using anything like that on or close to silicone it might happen.

Xray bladders just swell. They honestly were pretty terrible. I always put modified HB bladders in my shocks. I just took a dremel with a sanding drum and shaved the edges slightly. I never had to replace those bladders again.

Like mentioned by others, the Xray bladders just swell terribly.
If you want to build the shocks properly you have to replace them almost every month or so.
Most change them out with Tamiya/muchmore bladders. Capricorn bladders fit as well and don't swell at all.

i dunno, 28 shocks and only one torn bladder, never had a swollen one yet. Always used Much More oil though.

I have had the same experience, bladders swell after each and every time I pull them apart. Using LOSI silicone shock oil. Tried venom shock oil also. Can only replace the fluid two or three times before the bladders are unable to put into the shock effectivly.
Using tamiya shock bladders makes the process worse, as they are slightly bigger and swell also, making the tight fit even worse.
I have had the same problem on the original large bladders, and the new low profile xray bladders.
Maybe should try muchmore oil, do the different brands make a difference in this situation, stop the bladders swelling?

I never realized that the bladders could swell. I guess that explains why XRay shocks are so difficult to build, and why I'm swapping bladders so frequently.

Are they perfectly fit without modification? And what the effect of 30,40 and 50 degree?

bladders swell over time and cannot be re-used. The only time i actually re-use an old bladder is if its just a simple oil change/cleaning of the shock.

A full shock rebuild includes new O-rings & bladders, sometimes new shock shafts if they are very worn.

Depends on the bladder.

Silicone based bladders will swell, especially soft silicone.

Rubber-based bladders - like the Tamiya ones - won't.
