Thanks!
Lilacs are 37-38 shore, slight differences depending on manufacturer but they all should perform the same on track. If you want to run others, if your carpet is relatively low grip you could go down to 30 shore but more likely you are going to end up around the same hardness as the spec tyres.

Depends where you are in the country. We in Northern California just got carpet back; sooooooo, it is growing here.

Per the postings, the hotter spots appear to be in the Northwest, Florida and Canada.

We used to have reasonable numbers at "The Gate" but as the speeds went up it kind of died. Then we tried 17.5 motors and the class has jumped up with several new racers running in the class. They like the simple cars (vs. T/C) and reasonable speeds. Interestingly the lap time is only about .4 seconds slower than a 1/12 scale 17.5 on a 10 second/lap track. Also racing is extremely close and intense.

Old dude- what set-up are you running on the 17.5 version. I'm running SG1's set-up on the 17.5 and on WGt I've gone back to the kit plus the X brace for the battery.

Old Dude,
I assume that with the 17.5 you are also still running 1s? I like the Spec175GT rules set, but I wish that they were more liberal with their body list.
I read where Brian "Dumper" Wynn listed the parts to put F1 axles on a CRC WGT car. Said "you really have to drive it". Sounded interesting.
