This is very good advice... Served me well supporting 2 cars (CRC at the time) with one set of spares between them.

I run a couple of CRC cars as well...with both having the slider pod now that means a lot less spare parts to carry with me as I don't have to carry a crap load of rear axle ride height adapters When the new F1 comes out I plan to run that as well

Don't hit the boards hard and alot, the CF bumper and front of the main chassis will crack and tear out the mounting holes. Other than that, its a pretty good car. Esc mounting and wiring may be a pain.

I had no problem for esc mounting and wiring on the 12r5.2 but the lipo removal sure is a pain.

Main concern is the built quality, simple layout, easy to set up

Hi guys, sorry if this seems like a silly question, I'm trying to find some wheels/tires for my old rc10l (235mm) and was wondering if the JACO World GT Specs Tires Lilac Front and Rear wheels would work/fit? Are they the same size (diameter and width) as the OLD wheels that I have.

Thanks for any help
Daniel

Yes. The wheel diameters are slightly larger, and the front wheels have less offset than the original RC10L wheels, but they still work fine. The compound might be a bit hard, depending on your track surface.

Looks like a 10R5 with an aftermarket chassis and the pod from a 12R5.1. The 10R5.1 has dampener tubes instead of a side shock, and shares its rear pod with the 12R5.2. The front suspension is also the older version- threaded inserts in the lower arms. Definitely not a 10R5.1.

I was hoping that I could get some input on preferred 1s ESCs. I have a Hobbywing 1s, but was hoping to get another ESC that costs less. Opinions?

Scott,

I have an older Hobbywing V2.1 1S in one WGT (asphalt) that performs really well.

You might check around for a used HW V2.1 1S. It was replaced by the HW V3.1 1S that some racers likely 'just had to have'.

if you run only blinky, the Hobbywing Just Stock is an option worth considering. They are much smaller than the boost capable versions and they are super inexpensive. I think CRC sells the Just Stocks for under $70, which is an amazingly low price for a good solid speedo. One drawback (a minor one), you'll probably need a booster if you run 1cell with the Just Stock speedo. Luckily good boosters are small and light and available at low prices too.

I was planning on running Blinky with a 13.5 and 1s.
Thanks for the info Bill and VA.

Bill, can you direct me to a baseline setup for the CRC 10LE?
