Don't be. It was the last year the class ran, and attendance was sparse. It was the equivalent of winning SCCA H-production with an Austin Healey Sprite: If you showed up and your car ran, you stood an excellent chance.

But it's still fun to list it in my signature, and it gets attention. I don't drive like that these days!

We have a big 2 day GT10 meeting here in the UK this coming weekend, and everyone is getting new b'shells for it.

Here's mine:

Cheers!

Considering the event is a demonstration race at the Autosports show and the body rules were "preferably painted in the style of a full sized racing car", With many racers copying actual full size GT cars, how does this look scale?

It does n't, which is why I have sprayed another in a more realistic colour scheme! Just waiting for the last decals to arrive and it'll be finished.

And here it is:

Howard,

In the good ole days (late 60s-early 70s), I remember Sprite fields of 15-25 cars; and, it certainly was not easy to win in NorCal (Laguna Seca/Sears Point).

Looking great, and nice to see a change from the Sophia and a nice subtle way of getting your sponsors on there. Good luck at the weekend.

I like the look of the RedBull Genesis drift car, so based it loosely on that.

We were originally told not to use a Sophia, so I bought this Silva which was the closest I could find to the Genesis.

Got busy weekend coming up, last prep on Friday night at the local club and then an early start both Saturday and Sunday at the NEC.

Looking forward to it though and will post pics next week sometime.

Cheers, Chris.

See page 58.

Your best bet as to setting is what is listed on the best setup for the kit you end up buying.

Just picked up a CRC Gen-X 10LE. Are there any mods that need to be done to this car, also, a base set-up and roll out for 13.5 1c, boosted on carpet.

Thanks

Hi Slow,

This is a generic WGT thread. Please go to the thread titled "CRC 1/10th Pan Car" for more specifics about CRC Gen-X 10 LE setups. SG1 recently posted a very different setup that seems to be getting a lot of attention from racers. His setup spans several postings. I plan on using that on one of my two WGT cars to compare it to a more standard setup.

But, this is still a good thread to track too for WGT info.

Bill
