I just switched to the XRay from a 415. No love for the Tamiya here

I hope this is just an "option" chassis and not a replacement. I really dig the saddle car. steers, rotates & handles very well

Is it just me, or is the X-Ray just a glorified HPI Pro-2 ???

also what ive heard from the dutch drivers at the worlds championnhip the xray had to be renewed... and so they came up with this new "concept".... i didnt see the car yet, but i am very sure it looks like a tamiya/corally i can call my xray friends which are at the dhi cup now for you:and ask them personally
Geforcy,

It's not so nice to spread rumors about something that is not true.
You wasn't even there!
Actually he did try that car to help that person with his set-up. He didn't break the track record and actually he did not even drive for 5 minutes.

it does look like that though, the could just be running the batterys down one hole side.

but the that arises a question could he put the side by side pack on that side? because of the servo on the t1 has to be on that side?

I did see several people taking pictures of the prototype cars at the DHI race, so I don't think it will be long before some "spy shots" pops up.

I was walking around with my camera and heard Mr. Hudy give orders to his team drvers to "whatch that guy"...

I did'nt take any pictures of it, guess I don't have the paparazzi in me. But no one was preventig anyone from looking and talking to the team drivers about it either....

One more BIG picture with body on..
If you don't see the whole battery on one side, you need medications...

Becuase some xray drivers decided to use the batteries on one side you automatically came to the conclusion that it is a new car?

It might be the FK with the chassis from the EVO2!

Are there any other indications that this is a prototype?
What are those?

I belive 710baby may be onto something...

From a sponsored team driver who called to order a new FK kit yesterday.........

"They are shut down to adjust pricing on everything because of increase of Euro to Dollar. Everything will have a slight price increase. Also was told that a new car was about to be released so I might want to hold off on buying the FK right now."

No info on what has been changed/modified.........

Hopefully the new prototype will fix the MAJOR flaw of the XRay line...

REALLY BAD PARTS SUPPORT!!!

If parts are readily available I'd consider getting one again. Love those cars!

The mystery is that there were no clear pictures at the time of my post .... take it easy, no one claims that you were not there.
