In my current class there are two of us running Xerun System and the rest Tekin and Mamba. They have no advantage in their systems.

You can't go wrong with the 1s unit. Affordable and very fast and they are in stock. Our drivers have place VERY well in National competition with the 120A, 1s unit.
Get the unit and program box, download Hobbywing 1.64 from the www.teamcrc.com site and "upgrade" the software to "930stock". Be sure to turn OFF the voltage protection while on the laptop.
Of course, if you are running "blinky" no timing mode, upgrade to V3_508_No_TIMING software. Again be sure to DISABLE voltage protection while hooked to the laptop.
The world of timing and boost is NOT easy, many variables and adjustments that if done incorrectly, can burn a speedo or motor. You will need to carefully "play" with the settings. Always start with the motor timing near minimum and "creep" up the timing on the motor.
Formula to kill a motor?? Lots of motor timing and speedo timing = cooked brushless.
Have fun.
