Big thing is what class? what surface?

My top 5 i'd choose if i won the lottery i don't waste money in:
- Awesomatix A700
- Corally PHI
- Xray T3 '12
- TOP Photon
- Serpent S411

This is for high traction carpet. but it's also how in depth you want to get with setups, costs, and most of all driving preferences.

Awesomatix is a sick looking futuristic car that involves ALOT of knowlage. really low CG and very light. part support may be an issue where you live.

Corally which i run find to be a very funny car. it's hard to find "that setup" but once you do it's on rails. but i find it needs A LOT of maintenance and part support never been that great.

Xray T3 in my mind is always a solid looking car on the track, part support is great pretty much everywhere. doesn't need a ton of maintenance like the corally but i find parts to be much more expensive then corally.

TOP Photon i'd give it the same as the T3, for me if i had to choose between the 2 i'd just go for the one with the best part support.

Serpent S411 i've yet to ever test this car out. only seen a few. and the few i seen are top drivers and do very well with this car week in and week out. at our track the top 3 drivers use serpent, xray, and awesomatix. each week swapping spots so this car is on my list to try. dont know part support or costs or maintenance.

I still run the first RDX from 06 i think it came out? bought it used for $100 with 90ounce servo @0.12 still using this car for trans am. runs great and the RDX is the easiest of the corallys to setup.

I'd look into what the locals are using because you will have a lot more setup data to work with. The TC6 and TC6.1 are very popular and successful in SoCal plus parts are readily available.
