out of these two which one is the best?

The Hitec HS-5925MG (digital)
Torque 103 / 128 oz. Speed is 0.10 / 0.08
This one uses a High Performance Coreless

or

Airtronics 94357Z ERG-VR High Speed (analog)
Torque is 100 / 125oz speed is 0.09 / 0.07
This one uses a Coreless motor


I current have the hitec, but it makes so much noise, is it worth it to go with the airtronics so that it doesnt have the noise and performs better?

i heard the digital is good because of the centering is that true?

yes you are right...digital servos are the best for centering, holding power, torque, and speed...

take a look at the Futaba S9451 and S9550 digital servos.
2 of the best along with KO's and others.

Out of the two you mentioned,I would take the speed over the digital anyday........especially if you already don't like the noise of what you have.........also,many of the pro's still don't run digital

i live in california, and i was planning on racing at socalRC in huntington beach, if anyone who have gone there think the which servo out of the two is good let me know your opinion

Just got back from SoCal. Tough crowd there, but if you do well there, you can do well anywhere. The "Pro Mod" main tonight had Kinwald, Tosolini, Garner, Phalen...and a couple other "semi-famous" guys in it. Tuesday night at the local track...LOL

Anyways...get the Airtronics. They're great servos and you can't beat the fact that they're local (right across the freeway from the "Big A") and have great customer service.

A good servo is one of the most overlooked, yet very important hop ops.

I would also take the airtronic.

At my opinion, these are the criterias to select a good servo for a touring car:

1 Wellknown and reliable brand
2 Ball bearings
3 Metal gear
4 High speed - at least 0,1 sec pr. 60 degrees
5 Digital - for holding power, centering, and especially smoothnes.

On a very low budget, only criteria 1 matter. With a little more, both 1 and 2. The more money, the higher you can move up in the criterias.

I suggest you save up some more and get all of it. A good servo can be taken to the next car and the next... And it really helps improving driving.

Also, dont forget to check your ESC; If the BEC is limited to 5 volt (which they often are), the servo speed is reduced with 25%... In this case, you might consider upgrading the ESC OR choose a servo with a 7,2 volt FET wire.

well as for number 5 what do you think i should go with, cause both servos are good and the same price, but one is not digital.
so so what your opinion on the two servoes?

I would recommend a Futaba S9550 servo it you need space, if not, might as well get the fastest servo, which is a Sanwa ERG-WRX. Specs is .06 sec 6 volts

There's a faster one: KO PS-2015FET, 0,05 sec / 60 degree It's not made anymore, but I got one.

The KO PDS 2123 is also 0,06 sec / 60 degree.

Ko propo 2123 or 2113 are amazing servos, if you get the 2113 replace the plastic gears with a set of 2123 metal gears

I've already stated, that I would choose the Airtronic.

I dont think you get my point... Or you have another point of view on Hitec, than I do. I dont count in Hitec as a wellknown and reliable brand. Wellknown, yes, but not reliable.
