Default Vtx10 with Lrp x12 13.5 help

The manual on the Lrp motor says not to run timing... But I know that's bs

So is anyone running the same Esc and motor that can give me some help as to what Esc settings and motor timing to use ?!!

And what is the x12's timing straight out of the box? Like in degrees ...??

For boosted, run the -10 insert. LRPs have a lot of timing in them, even with the -10 it still has something like 27 degrees of timing.

Scroll down a bit for a timing chart.

Is this blinky or boosted?

I ran an LRP X12 17.5 with the Viper VTX10 briefly...

It's boosted!

So would I be safe and competitive to use profile 7?

I don't have a viper so can't help you with set-up but the combo of viper with lrp is very competitive, I've been beaten by it a few times.

Ive only ran Blinky with it, so I cant be of much help.

But I would start with the 4dot timing insert on the X12 and use profile 7 to start with.... Gear conservatively and go from there.

They can take over 190f before bad things happen but can fall off in power over 180. 13.5s seem to be able to take more heat without falling off than some of the others so I would say 180. Sorry, don't feel like converting.
