anyone on site, please find out why no spektrums on the horizon rides. i'd be curious if they didn't use them at cleveland (?), then come to this big race and don't use them.

Could be ROAR rules causing the Spektrum to disappear.

they ran them at the ROAR region 12 onroad champs this summer. Sounds like they're still having problems with them indoors.

Perhaps it is not FCC type accepted equipment yet. 2.4 Ghz band is fall into an authorized frequency for US Amateur Radio Operator. They might have to wait until get everything cleared out with the FCC before releasing them.

It will probably go until 10 or 11 tonight. Scotty runs a good program so there shouldnt be alot of delays.

8 Minutes per race (5 minute race and 3 minutes to queue up the next) = 320 MINUTES (5.3 HOURS)

2 ROUNDS = 10.6 hours

And that estimate is if EVERYTHING goes smoothly.....not saying or wanting it not to, but that is a best-case estimate...I would say closer to 11 1/2 hours....
