LRP SXX Comp Spec V2 for 17.5 Touring

We run no timing on esc, but are allowed on motor. I switched from pan car so already have the Comp spec. I keep reading that TC spec handles 4wd better, but wondering if the comp spec will do fine in 17.5 or should I change or add a fan, etc? If it should be fine, what do you all recommend on feel and drag brake setting?
