Has anyone tried "Cold Heat" soldering gizmo seen on TV?

I personally wouldn't want to solder my batteries at 800 degrees. I wonder how well this actually works though, or is another infomercial-quality product?

this thing is a piece of crap, a kid at the races bought it and it barely works outside.

If you want a portable Iron you should try the Hakko FX-901 cordless..

yea scew that thing, although is makes a interesting paper wieght.

friend of mine got one, i used it for servo wires, i thought it worked just fine. don't think i would try to solder batteries with it, and i too solder my batteries at 800 degrees
