just file a chamfer on the top, both edges, 45 degrees about half way down the slots, dont leave a sharp edge on the bottom

also guys after putting my car on a setup jig i noticed the rear toes ins are uneven!!!
left side has 2 deg toe in and right side has 3 deg toe in!
and i thinnk i now know why people complain about the small 950 bearing in the hubs.... they give too much play! you can bloody wobby the wheels so much!!! maybe coz its c hub design!
with out nitros using pivot ball suspension we dont suffer that kinda play!!! also with c hubs like that when the car goes forward the toe ins get toed out!!! making the car only approx 1 deg toe in. thats with the stock rear toe blocks A + E

Mine never had that much play, probably why the bearings are now shagged...
Have you used the shims?
My pivot ball suspension has no play either...
In fact the only bit that has play is the c-hub onto the front suspension arm....
overall the evo IV is quite a tight car and the balls joints have very little play compared to others I have seen/driven
