hello everyone..

i am interested in opening a small RC store and needed to know what will i need to start the business....like what kind of licenses, or numbers.

can some one help me with that?

Contact your city hall or town hall, they will let you know what license you need. Also your province or state may require you to register for tax exemption status.

There's a couple books I would suggest reading.

"Running a 21st Century Small Business" by Randy W. Kirk

"The E Myth Revisited" by Michael E. Gerber

Both books have a ton of information. I was able to check out both at my local library at no charge. I always have 2-3 business books on my desk. From sales and marketing, to accounting, to general business books. The more I read, the more I learn that I really didn't know a whole lot about running a business.

You'll find that out through your County or State Tax collectors office most likely. Start by calling them and tell them you're intersted in starting a business. They'll lead you in the right direction.

You'll want to contact distributors to see how you qualify to do business with them. HRP and ERI are really good. Horizon is a big one and they have exclusives with certain manufacturers like Losi. They're not my favorite but maybe a necessary evil.
