i bought some wheel hexs of ebay for my xray t3 the original ones were black but these are silver i measured the thickness of the silver ones and they are the same as the original black ones but since using the silver ones i seem to have less steering on the car on the back of the hexs were the drive pin fits can this be deeper or less deeper then the black ones ? if so this could affect overall width of the car ? thanks

hi i think you might have the -.75 hexes wich are more narrow the original are +.75

A difference in thickness would affect the handling.
But the original T3's did have silver hexes, the T3'11 and '12 have black hexes (same width as the original silvers).

If you have measured both types accurately and the is no difference then they are effectively the same.
