See: Link Read "ROAR Nationals Guidelines For 2012 Competition" it covers your question in detail. LH is not a track with one layout. A different layout is possible....

Thanks... The reason I ask is that I have been informed that because they will use Control Practice to seed the qualifier, you will be using the controlled tires. I'm just asking for clarification, not trying to start a debate... And I was told this is how it was done for the Capet Nationals in Dallas.... remember I was told... So I'm just asking.... Should or Should not, if it is the same for everyone it does not matter....

So for those of use who want Black and White.

Please correct if I am wrong

~You are allotted 3 sets of tires (per class) to be tech'd before first practice and must be new.
~If you choose to run during the practice sessions you can run your sets of tires but you must continue to use those tires for qualifiers and mains.
~If you choose to pass on all practice then you are seeded based off a zero time and set at random.
~If and only if you make the A-main you can purchase another set of tires

In reference to the practice times, are you meaning the open practice until noon, or the controlled practice which will be used for seeding ?

Regarding tires. Open Practice will not be subject to using your control tires. I'm learning more, but one thing that is for sure, the full decision has not been made about tires and controlled practice.

And before everyone jumps on this with opinions, please don't... give the powers of the event the time to get answers to the open questions they have. Just leave it alone for now... We will have answers shortly.

And as always, I'm not an official and this can change...

~You are allotted 3 sets of tires (per class) to be tech'd before first practice and must be new. Yes
~If you choose to run during the practice sessions you can run your sets of tires but you must continue to use those tires for qualifiers and mains. Two different types of practice, non seeding and seeding... Once the seeding starts, your control tire usage starts....
~If you choose to pass on all practice then you are seeded based off a zero time and set at random. No, you will be in the Lowest heat for your class. You will have 2 rounds of Qualifying before the resort.
~If and only if you make the A-main you can purchase another set of tires. Correct
See my current understanding above in Red.
Again, my answers are subject to change by the RMT... and or based on the current information I have.

Not sure if this has been asked before, BUT can we bring our own NIP tires to the event, or are we required to purchase them at the home track?

You will be required to purchase tires for qualifying and main events.

You can bring PRACTICE tires.

Question for race organizers.

How will the class order be run? Myself, and I’m sure many other would like to run two classes, with the same car. Example: Sedan 17.5 and 13.5, or Sedan 13.5 and modified. Is the class running order going to be separated to allow racers time service their one car? Or is the class order going to dictate no significant time between like chassis classes?

Snowy

I would assume that it would go 17.5,13.5, then mod like most the events I've seen the sheets on.

They run the A1 mains in the start, then A2 mid, then A3 end.

If you want to see the order, I think last year at Jackson will give you a good idea... Link Give a look a the race number, not the order on the PDF.... They had 23 heats...

Could you have a back to back, sure (Not likely, but it could happen), all depends on what you enter and how you do....

Who is the actual race director for the Nationals? I have seen a lot of people adding their 2 cent here, but who is the person making the final decisions?
