According to the Leisure website, there are 91 days until the Nats. Perhaps when it reaches 90 days (tomorrow) it will be available. I read something about that.

Please refer to your ROAR rule books that have not only rules for vintage Trans Am, but also *surprise* Formula One/Indy. I know for a fact there has not been a ROAR F1 race until this year since 1998.

The point of this is that there are classes in the rule book which are not run. WGT is not a mandatory class. F1 is not, 13.5 sedan is not, and trans am is not either.

Thanks for complaining.

I have taken this discussion to the PM area and to ROAR directly but haven't received an answer as of this post. This is to keep the discussion to people that should have the answers and to keep negative comments off the thread.
You are wrong about F1 at a ROAR race as we ran it at our regional for 3 racers in a very time constrained event. We also don't have a local following but they had a ton of fun.

As you said ROAR has not updated there rule book in years. F1 make a quick come back down here last year. At our regional last year - 3 F1's. that's the last time they were seen anywhere.
WGT is still here . I doubt if you'll get an answer from ROAR. The ROAR fourm does not work and ROAR is out of touch.

I am discussing national level races- there have been many different classes run at the regional level which do not appear at nationals.

Rob did you gracefully back out of being a ROAR rep???

Just curious since you don't seem to count according to them.

And what? WGT is a ROAR santioned class. It's being run at the Reginal 4 Regional in June. They might find some 1/12th scales and No F1's. You take TC -water down the classes and you have USVA and RCGT along with the other TC classes.I have not run a TC since 2005 and have no plans to run one again.

There was an "A" and a "B" for F1 at the 2012 carpet nationals also. And the rule book is out of date in a number of areas.
