Default Yokomo???

Whats up fellas. I have this Electric On-Road car that I dont really know what it is. Im pretty sure its a yokomo, but I dont know what model or what year it's from. If I post some pics can anyone identify it. None of my local hobby stores even want to look at it because its not nitro. I will appreciate your help.

It's a YR4. One of the original ones.

I still have one. Probably about 1995 / 96 at a guess.

YR4M2-USA. You can tell because of the full-sized (non-mini) shocks, sliding battery trays, and spring loaded upper deck. That model was actually my first touring car, I bought it in 1998 IIRC. It's a good car, enjoy it.

Edit: Here is a good article written about the car.

I've never raced my rc. I race my YFZ450 (quad) at seminole track. I just found this after I moved. I would love to race the car but it needs work. Can I still get parts for this or am I better off getting a new one? Is there a hobby store in Broward that works on electric cars? I had an HPI but I hate tuning in those engines I like electric better. Anyways I live in Miramar, which is South Broward. What type of racing do you guys do?

Sorry for all the damn questions!!!!

try contacting www.yokomousa.com they "might" have parts available, keep your fingers crossed. The M2 USA was a very good car in it's day but it's probably 5-7 years old now.

If you can't get parts in the US, I've got plenty.

Hi sinisterRC,

Wow, YR-4M2USA...that brings back memories

If you have a list of parts you're looking for, I can contact Yokomo USA for you and check on it. I was there recently, I think there might be some parts still in the warehouse for it.

bright green=hot green, the other green spring is for the GT4 nitro car and they're really stiff.
