Hey guys I need a little help with sprint rate. I find that my car is very loose on conners. The back slides to much, not enough traction. I'm running 2 camber, 2 toe-in. I don't think that's ware my problem is. I have been searching the net for spring rate on rear of car. I thought the numbers stamp on spring was a way to tell seems like all my springs say the same 7306. I have measured the thickness, I have measured the length. not a whole lot of deference. Can someone help me or suggest something to help.

TOP Spring
Ok, I have found a 7393, and a 7344. If i correct the higher the number the softer the spring. Is this correct guys. I also think the 7 is something else

no not quite correct,the higher the number the harder the spring but yes forget about the 7 part of the number
367 = 20.5lb
344 = 19.2lb
324 = 18.1lb
306 = 17.1lb
289 = 16.2lb
these are the top spring part numbers, i think from memory the springs that come with a new kit are 306 & 367
hope this helps

Thank you for the information. I found the information after the post here on electric on road forum T.O.P. Racing "Photon" 1/10 EP Touring Car.

Any suggestion for better traction on black top parking lot racing. I know if I soften the rear a little it should help. But I install some new KO-Propo 30105 and know the car feels very loose, glitchy. even the throttle was acting up. I have not ran my car for two weeks but still. Tiken RS pro radio is KO-Propo EX-1 KIY. I have ran this car with no problem for 2 other seasons with no problem

I race on low grip asphalt too and use:
- 289 rear spring 324 front
- rear toe in 3.0 deg
- front toe out 0.5 each side
- kit front camber link position 3mm spacer on inside
- on rear outer camber link holes inside and outside. 1mm spacer inside 3mm outside.
- rear camber 2 deg
- 1.5 front with 6 deg caster block (2.0 deg with 4 deg caster block)
- 1.2 mm sway bar front and rear
This works well with ride 32 red on low grip tracks.
36 compound for higher grip
Hope that helps

Top caster
- 1.5 front with 6 deg caster block (2.0 deg with 4 deg caster block)
What will this do for the car slow the front end down entering a corner, or will it slow it down. I'm not running diff. I like the solid axle and ball fill on the car I have tried diff but it's not for me. If I was running nitro I would have diffs on both front and rear. I love the car, but last time i race I could not keep any traction. Yes I was running 36 on tires

Yes 6 deg caster reduces initial steering but makes more steering mid corner. 1.5 deg camber further reduces inital steering.
4 deg caster makes more agressive initial steering. When I use 4 deg caster I add 2 deg camber to regain more mid corner steering.
I find these adjustments change feeling of steering .. change to suit you or track.
I use spool (solid) front axle and gear diff in rear.
If you are using ball diff in rear check it is not too tight or perhaps it needs maintenance. Either of these issues can cause oversteer on power.

Dang, some-one beat me to the punch at A Main, they must be following your instructions. I place to save 2 of the 4deg caster blocks at work, ones I got home 1 had vanished. LOL, so I had to back order 2 just in case I brake 1. The problem is I have 2 cars so what ever I do to 1 I do to the other. One I used as a sadden the other as GT-RC class both are blinky mode. Why don't I just change body and tires. It gets a little dark and can't see well enough to change up body post for deferent body.
