Yeah, soaking the diff orings in wd40 will make them actually seal, green slime on any orings also help stop leaks, pay careful attention to shimming everywhere, it's off on some cars, the steering rack has slop so more shimming there, and the shocks still have too thin pistons so more shimming there.

Yeah the web site could use some love. All you have to do is email them, or call them. OD always answers , and he has always responded to my emails in a very timely manner.

The new Servo mount, and springs should be in, or will be in any day. Mine are already on Order. With the new DJS friendly 6 and 4 degree caster blocks

As you had to tape the servo to stop the servo moving. Will the new one work? as it seems to me TOP cannot research there products. As the case with the screws/ wrong sized bearings eg on the steering/ the serrated wheel nuts that are a joke/ the nubs on the shock shaft that need removing and down't get me started on the gear diff. The real shame about this is the ex would be a great car if it was not built on the cheep. They charge xray prises but tern out poor quality. So I as well will be getting out from TOP.

If you had that many problem's with the floating servo im pretty sure you could have got a hold of OD and he would of done something about it. OD is that man when it comes to customer service issues. TOP has great customer service. I've built a few EX's now and haven't had the problems you had. I had one of the first ones off the line too. The EX has been a great car for me. you're the first person I've heard that had issues with the shock shafts and the prices are less than half of X-ray... Ohh and to go back, if you had issues you can get a hold of TOP and they will take care of you..

So you got one with the sliding shock adjusters?, that was fun, good way to buff out a chassis in the first meet before you realize what was going wrong.

Got to say I'm jumping ship, nice car when it's sorted and working, but parts prices were never that fantastic, and the brand just seems to be fading, I can't remember for sure but I vaguely remember the CVDs being promised over a year ago?
