Yes, I am talking about the hub carriers.

I just use 2x0.4 shim on the rear left side (instead of 1x0.4) and that's all.

Sorry, You use them between the external bearing and the pin?

Only on the left side?

Thanks

I have used the original Tamiya 5x1,5 mm shims in between the rear ball bearings inside the hub carriers (as 417) and firmly screwed the allens screws inside the suspension rear mounts. Now I have 2.7-2.8 degrees at left side and 3 degress at right side.

I never had this problem before. But I also never check the toe with my hudy set. Normally just calculate the toe-in. I'll have a look.

Regards Robert

Thanks Dawson. Who knows what could of/would of happened without the racing contact out on track. Tight qualifying times often lead to tight starts and the slightest mistakes can cost ya.
EJ finished 4th in 13.5 too.

My Photon EX was really great in qualifying but I think my lack of sleep effect mains day..

I was running the new stuff. Rear Hubs, Knuckles, and C Hubs.

Other than that I was running the exact same setup I posted after the Halloween classic. Except I widened the front to 1mm instead of .5 shim for width on the blocks.

Noone was running the new toe block. I also do not plan to run them. I may give them a try on asphalt for the heck of it but I really dislkike that style of toe block and will only use it if it greatly improves the car (which I doubt)

I had everyone covered in 17.5 I just didnt get enough sleep and ran out of talent on mains day. That and getting peeled from behind didnt help my chances. After the first round mistakes I made it took me out of the running about 1/2 through the first lap in the 2nd main and basically the wind out of my sails for the other 5 mains I had to run.

Great job to Larry and FJ in TC! Both cars looked excellend on the track. I think they unknowingly ended up with slightly different setups.
