I'm going with a new scheme, Fluro red!

Only masking I want to do now on is windows!

Any info on a base setup? ie spring rates? I use the 344/306 combo almost exclusively on the Photon, will this carry over? How different will setups be?

Car was good tonight for the time and thrashing until 5am last night and all day today to get the car together for 1 run before the first round.

I was as fast or possibly faster with this car over my photon. I didn't run my good photon tonight to test back to back. I ran .1 quicker this week with the EX but the track may have been faster by about that much. Not really sure.

The chassis and top deck and all the arm mounts are great.

The car felt completely different than my Photon but very good. I still have some work to do, but for throwing the car together in one day. (something that I did not want to do.)

It has a lot of potential. I'm excited to get outdoors on asphalt. I think it will run well outdoors.

I dig the new TOP Racing belts.

I got a 49 pinion on it without taking off the topdeck.

Bodys do not fit from the old car. This car is a little longer.

The ex was definitely fast tonight. We where all excited to see it in action. By Larry's 6th lap he beat my fastest lap of the day. Not sure if I'm mad or happy about that

I'm looking forward to that, lately with foam 10.5 and blinky, I go to fit like a 33-34 (48p), and get frustrated having to pull the top deck off.

Bummer about the body post holes though, only just did up a new body recently.

What no rear gear diff? What are you thinking Larry.

I recently had to switch back to a rear ball diff since the gears finally wore out in my gear diff and i have to say i almost like it better. I bought some gear replacement so I'll give the gear diff a shot again, but i may be in your boat where the ball diff is better.

Looks like the v2 alu steering blocks would work well for this car. There's a third hole that should be in the same place that the CF extenders reach to.

I have never ever liked gear diffs on carpet. I havent run one for more than a run or 2 in a day in over a year.

I keep trying to get them to work on carpet and I like the feel of a ball diff.

In modified I could see having to run one so you dont have to rebuild the diff every run but in slower classes I see no reason to run one.

A lot of people like the feel of a gear diff though so more power to them.

Im always faster and more consistent with a ball diff though.

On asphalt gear diff all they way.

Congrats on the win, and nice to see Danni racing again - even though it was with a TOP
