I hope all this frustration is worth it in the end.
When you get the EX on the track you'll notice the improvement over the old car straight away.

Hi all - I just recorded my current setup with Solaris Hard tires. My car was amazing last Saturday - June 14 2012 - in 13.5 at Jackson RC. I tried a few different spring combos during racing -- and I like 367 front, but I'm going back and forth between 324 and 306 rear springs.

I made a pass for the lead on the first lap of the A-main putting the moves on Larry. I head the lead for another lap, with us both giving it all we had -- making similar mistakes, over driving a section of the track we refer to as "The Member" on lap two. We both synchronized failed on the start of lap 3 rolling our cars off the sweeper entrance corner. After a lot more failure by everyone else I made a pass for 2nd on the second to last corner, and was right behind Larry at the stripe. A very exciting race -- but a ton of failure all around.

This was the first time I ran 367/324 springs in the main. It had a really good feel -- gave me a little too much confidence. I had tried 344/324 in round 3 -- the car felt great, but would roll over on itself with every curb. In round 2 with 367/306 I had one of my best runs with the car ever only fading 0.15s over the top 20.

I think Hanulec screwed up his most recent setup some on that setup sheet but I'm not sure.

The Ackerman setting people are posting in there setups does not seem right, 1mm shim between rack and ball stud? This would angle the links back slightly which is not desired.

Has anyone tried 3mm of shims with the V2 alu blocks, slightly angles the links forward? It's dialed, gives you a ton of corner speed and the tires don't overheat. I run the same lap times from beginning to the end.

My problem with the car so far has been loose off power so in my opinion decreasing (moving links forward) is directionally incorrect.

If your car is loose theirs other things to look at.

Roll center front and rear, springs, shock oil, etc. Have you posted your setup? if not, post it and we'll give you some suggestions.

I will say my car's current setup is not easy to drive for those that like to shoot into the corner, it will be loose. But if you drive it smooth it's very fast and easy to control. So some of it is driving style.
