If you look real close and think about it, in theory it's the exact same design as the prototype, and keep in mind the word 'prototype' when looking at the prototype pictures.

Both version separate the suspension from the bulkheads, and arrange most everything in the same way, only real stand out change was from full toe blocks to a shim arrangement.

CAD images with a release date of later this month or next, this would have to be 'it', or damn near enough anyway.

I'm actually quite excited about it now, I like them basically improving on what was already there, cause I liked how it was, not that my opinion matters all that much overall, but it's a refined and upgraded product I'll buy.
Edit: Now if only TOP could push it to a world level where people stop asking me what brand Photon is...

Default Car looks great but...

one comment on the front/rear and the rear/front arm mounts. Weren't these the weak points on the xray cars of earlier years? I seem to remember the blocks pulling the screws actually thru the chassis in a crash, which is why they went to the solid aluminum one piece instead to the split two piece.
I assume the engineers already considered this?

There are plenty of people still running split blocks on the xray without an issue.

I'm pretty sure the xray has only one screw holding the inside blocks on and the other part is keyed in with a peg? Correct me if I'm wrong

The EX will have 2 screws giving more suface area to disribute the energy if you take a rear end hit and thus more holding power

I hear some good reports from the track about the Photon EX. It should be a great summer...
