Posted my 17.5 and 13.5 setup from the Reedy Race. Removing the rear most motor plate/top deck screws made all of the difference in forward bite (along with using Tweak), just made the change too late. My car was great in 2 qualifiers and 1 main (A3).

Guys. I gotta say I love this car more and more everyday! The chassis flexes so well on asphalt and the car was very well designed to where it is SUPER easy to work on.
I had a chance to run the car with RSD Tc6 DCJ ( dual cardan joint ) along with TC6 spool today and the car was just sooooo much smoother and had more corner speed! Love it!! Thanks to the reflexracing team for developing these!

Ha Johnny do you need to use the TC6 spool for them to work on the EX or can I use the Top spool?

You would have to use the tc6 spool. Reason being is that the tc6 outdrive is slightly bigger than the Top. So it fits the RSD DCJ Joint (dog bone part) better. Amainhobbies.com sells tc6 slipper spool which acts like a spool but got some gives when you hit something hard.

Hey Johnny, are you using the stock EX caster blocks with the RSD DCJs?

James, I'm using the Xray T3 caster block. You can use the stock caster block, but I find it very easy to take the cvd in and out for maintainant with the Xray caster block because the chamber hole In the caster block is big enough for you to take the cvd in/out without having to remove the nuckle (aww.. much less work). Also X-ray caster block hole will have more clearance for the DCJ. So therefore DCJ will not hit the chamber edge as you steer left and right. You may have to dramel the chamber edge a little for clearance with the stock caster block.

I am very surprised that T.O.P. did not incorporate or include a servo saver? Did they really think the servo horn would last?

Do any cars have built in servo savers? I know the Xray, Tamiya, and Hotbodies do not.
