We have some at Halo Hobbies right now and I am finishing up our press release that goes out to all our distributors and shops tonight so I can send everything out in the morning. From there, it's up to everyone to order them...

JFCJ - On the C12 or 12L, you basically take out the body clip and just slide a body washer on the post - The shoulder on the body post is perfect as it is just higher than the dampner tubes. On the new C12 Evo parts (cross brace and body posts), you use the lowest body clip position...

Default Cool!

Josh, that would look so good sitting on top of my MS2.2! Now if I could just paint... How does it compare to the speed 8 or 12 or the other open cockpits?

If I have touble mounting it up, I will just mold up a new car that will fit!!!

Happy Holidays everyone.

WOW!!! Downright awesome Josh!!!

I too am curious as to whether it's more of a stock or mod 12th scale body. I'm sure of one thing though, Josh wouldna put it into production if it was very good in one or both.

Josh,

WOW loving it's looks dude!

Is it also based on a 1:1 scale car, so it will be allowed at sanctioned races?

It does look kinda heavy...don't know why though...(just a feeling)
Is it?

It looks fragile in the rear. One hit, and the wing looks like it will be ripped off. How does it work if I only mask this area to get the opend look, but let it be closed?

Looks awesome Josh!

Razzo - haha! (re: ROAR)

Windsorguy99 - try smearing a light coat of Shoe Goo over the crack on the inside of the body and use Tamiya or HPI aluminum tape to strengthen the entire area.

Nice shell Josh, really interesting way of mounting a realistic rear wing!

Which full scale LMP is it based on?

Thanks

Andy

That body looks awesome !
I saw a picture of a simmilar car like this here on rctech.net before but cannot find it on my harddisk anymore.

My only concerns are about the wing. It looks like it will be a pain in the a** to cut out the holes in front of it and once cut it could be quite fragile. I mean althouhg i learn to drive better and better i still crash pretty hard on a regular basis.....

The body mentioned above (perhaps the prototype) had a seperate wing mounted to the car which made it look even more scale and gave the option to replace the wing.

lol...

Frank, I know the Shoe goe trick for re-inforcement.....

but there are bigchunks of body that are starting to fly off....it was the guys first lightweight body...

It looked great, but whereer the mask was cut, hehas scored the lexan...and in some spots gone right through...and there were a fair numberof cuts...

Unfortunately the body is not long for this world...

time to go shopping
