Default Track Question

Do you guys think a 30X40 track with mabe 3.5-4 ft wide lanes would make someone a better driver? My basement on new house im building has an area that large that will just be empty and I was thinkin about buying some carpet and making a small practice track to mess around with. Give me some input if it would hurt or help me.

Any practice is good practice. You might not get the same exact feel as the track you race on unless you get the same carpet. But you can practice your skills.

You could setup different sections and practice. Wish I had the room to do it.

I have the same situation. I have a huge unfinished walkout basement that my wife said I can use for a test track (for now). Does anyone know of a good source for some ozite for a decent price?

If u hav money, go buy Road Rail. If ur cheap(i am too ) get some plywood and make your own track. Use foams for carpet...dUh. I'm tryin to think up more....maybe later^_^
