On April 15th the Stratus 3.0 will be available in 3 versions - 2 versions for 190mm electric and the 3.1 version for 200mm gas.
The "Carpet" version is part no. 1476-00 and the "All Pupose" version is part no. 1476-01
What are the differences? the "C" version is best suited for use on extremely high-bite tracks where the foams are trued down to ultra small (approx. 56mm) outer diameters and the cars are slammed very low. Martin Crisp and Mark Freshette each TQed and won their repective Mod & Stock mains at the recent "Eastern Canadian Sedan Nationals." When "mechanical grip" and low center-of-gravity is needed to be fast - this body is worth a try.
The "AP" version is the one that should be ideal for most weekend club-racing situations where the carpet is not high bite and the racers are using larger o.d. tires. This body offers more down-force. The "AP" is also a great outdoor/rubber tire body and should prove to be as competitive as anything currently used. It is a ROAR approved body and used by Steve Rossi to win a ROAR regional event in CO. When "aero-grip" is needed, this body is worth consideration.
The Stratus 3.1 (200 mm) is being tested this coming weekend for the first time and has been submitted to ROAR for approval. It is part no. 1477-00
I hope this answers some of your questions.
