That's pretty cool but 1/7th scale...pretty big...kinda like the discussion we had on bringing back Super10. But $1000! Also I love how they call it race ready...yet there is no class it could legally race in so how is it race ready? LOL

There was no class for the Slash either. I see a law suit in the makings.

Yeah it probably will kill someone but it will probably be those that should be thinned from the herd anyways.

Did they advertise the Slash as race ready?

actually no. They advertised it as, here's a CORR truck, and it drives just like one! Try it!

Then races for this class was invented.

umm a CORR truck IS A RACE truck, how can you drive like a race truck unless you are one?

This thing reminds me of the Jenkins Brothers: no throttle control ALL full throttle into whoever is in front

CORR is a full sized race truck...the Slash is a scale model of a race truck. Being a scale model of a race truck doesn't imply that the model is also a race truck while with this new car they specifically state the car is "race ready" which it is not as there are no races for the car...yet. I don't think Traxxas is trying to be intentionally misleading in its advertising...just trying to jazz up the advertising some.

I just dont see the market for this....not a racing class, cant take it out in the back yard, and have to have a huge smooth parking lot.....smells like disaster waiting to happen.....

I could see hobby shop parking lot racing picking up quite a bit if there's a way to turn down the power once people get past the 100MPH thing. Haven't 1/8 buggies converted for on-road been catching on somewhat?

If it's anything like that Traxxas Spartan boat of buddy of mine just got, it is a total pos.
