i am using fibre glass screen mesh and shoe goo on my bodies and it seems to work real well flexible and sturdy and cheap $1.50 for a piece 12in. by 36in. if you see me drive you know that i need it bad lol put some shoe goo in where you need it and then put in a layer of glass and press it into the shoe goo if you want to make it even stronger add a second layerof goo and glass

I embrace my crack! I'll usually stop it with a drilled hole at the end of the crack and then I drill holes down each side of the crack to insert tiny zip ties. My bodies look frankenstiened after a while.

When i initially mount a touring car body , I'd minimized the distance btween the foam bumper and body [ in an effort to lessen cracks at the wheel well.]With this said , i was also mindful of how i cut out the wheelwell(s)- a smooth cut versus a jagged edge lends the body to be less prone to initializing a crack. Reinforced packaging tape can be used if it'll adhere to the [painted] body.Good luck.
