Anywhere I can get that relapped?

Same problem with mine, so I bought 3 carbide bits and a diamond file from mcmaster.com. Now it cuts like butter.

P/n 3367a131 for bits that cut from right to left.

8168a33 for diamond file, choice of 120 or 220 grit.

You can buy diamond bits and have them relapped at carterdiamond.com.

LH if your lathe cuts from right to left.

RH if your lathe cuts from left to right.

Yeah, you should be fine with those, & in fact, I'd reccomend those anyway so that you can also buy extras, & if you make a mistake with one, it won't be that expensive a mistake. Then, once you've gotten comfortable with the carbides, you can look into trying a diamond one(if you so choose).....
