Default KO Propo Power Supply

Any one out there used one of these? Just curious how it performs before I buy one.

You might want to look on Ebay for them first....they are cheaper and they are exact same model. They are a very good PS and its really for the Hamm radio market. I asked a friends dad about them as he is a big hamm radio guy and he said that they are very good quality. So if you are going to get one look there first.

It's here! I will post pictures for size reference later. This PS is heavy duty to say the least and should out last any of the other popular PS's from "RC makers"

Build quality is excellent!

It feels solid, has good heft and durable black anodizing.
The Front

It has two switches, one for power the other to toggle between meter readings. One for Amps, the other for voltage. If you leave it on the Amp reading, it displays how many amps whatever the connected device is pulling.

The main knob adjusts voltage and the interior knob adjusts noise offset(something useful for HAM radio, but useless for regular use). I don't think I;ll ever have to touch these knobs.

On the left is a cigarette plug rated at 10 amps and below two 5 amp connections

Out back is the fan which hardly turns on and is super quiet when it does. The preset switch drops voltage to a user defined setting to protect from over voltage(again, not necessary in RC). The two banana connections are rated at the full 32 amps and what I did was plug in a muchmore power station to the Alinco and then connect my multiple chargers to the power station.

Then there is the 8A fuse to protect the Alinco from power surges. You never have to worry about power spikes at the track or from your generator. The fuse is cheap and readily available at any Radio Shack.
