tt-01e assembly?

hey guys. is the tt-01e an easy car to assemble for someone who hasn't assembled a kit before?

Tamiya offers several TT-01E kits that are RTR. These kits come assembled, include a transmitter, receiver, brushed speed control, motor (540 silvercan), a painted body, and wheels. You will need to provide AA batteries for the transmitter, a 6-cell nihm or 2s lipo battery to power the car, and a charger to recharge the battery. You may also need to buy different wheels if you are racing and additional pinion/spur gears to get the appropriate speed for the track you may be running at.

Here are some RTR options available on TowerHobbies (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...VSEARCH=tt-01e)

The TT-01 is not a hard kit to assemble and it includes easy to follow instructions.

I would still recommend the kit, building it will make fixing it a lot easier! :) Make sure you have a good fat tip phillips, stripped screws will make your life miserable.

purely based on their manuals, tamiya has some of the best kits to build.
definitely my favorite manufacturer for kits.
with that said, the tt-01 kits arent too hard to build, but there are a few steps ya gotta pay attention to.
