would this be a good servo for indoor carpet racing? it is 171oz@.13sec i was going to get a couple for my pro3 and tc3. open to other suggestions too. thanks

I've had this servo for some time in my 414M and Yok Special, but since changing to the 2173, I wouldn't use the 2174. The 2173 is quicker and has plenty of power for touring.
The 2173 is the servo of choice of most KO sponsered and non sponsered touring drivers!!

Im using the KO 2174 servo for asphalt touring in kod and find it drains a bit too much power and on the last lap if low on power the car gets a delayed steering action. Adding a bigger capacitor may help. Its still a really good servo but too much torque for touring. 2173 is the choice servo.

i would go with the ko 2173 i have used this servo
for a good while and its the best i have used .
i wouldnt buy anything but a ko !
it will work for asphalt or carpet track.

Yep, I wouldn't have anything but KO!!
The 2173 is the way to go for Touring.

No one using the 2143 digital from KO? I'm wondering what advantage the 2173 might have over it if any?

I would propose the 2143 or 2123. Both are digitals and very fast!
2143 0.08, 2123 0,06 but with fet (extra cable). I have them both and never regreted it!

Ko is the way!!

I run 2143's in all of my cars. They're not cheap, but once you use one, you won't use any other steering servo.

ok thanks guys i think i am going to go with the 2173 that seems to be the servo of choice for most, i looked at the 2143 they seem almost equal besides being digital butthe 2173 is 20 buck cheaper and im going to be getting two of them so ill just get the 2173 and save about 40 bucks.
