How can I fix that? Won't it make the car more agile around corners?

i have never run f1 cars before. and with little help from this site and one night of practice I have no regrets buying a f1r kit! I run a shorty with 571-575 tires on very high bite carpet.

Unfortunately the 571/572 combo I have isn't going to be legal for our "spec" class. Just the tamiya rubbers. What other wheels work with these tires? I'm thinking of doing a scale kimi lotus body. Anyone sell a stepnose? Which body would suit this look the best?

My understanding is the new Tamiya TCS rubber tires are relabeled 571/572's. Either tires use the Tamiya foam wheels.

If I remember correctly, the tamiya tires had a groove in the lips of them you put in the matching groove on the rim?

tires will be the 54198's. So I guess I am stuck with the tamiya mesh wheels.

Which rear aluminum motor plate is everyone using for the f1r? the rm01, or the replacement for the f104?

Also what's everyone's preferred setups for the f1r? Electronics layouts etc. I'm trying to get everything together ASAP before our first race end of te month. So far, lrp sxx tc spec v2 I had laying around (I prefer tekin rs), either a Novak ballistic or silver can tekin 21.5, I have full length 2s lipos, and a f104 pro with lipo conversion, soon to be exotek f1r, with the exotek upper arms. Still have the f104 body, but maybe I should get a f60 body set?

I dont believe the RM01 pod fits on the F1R chassis.

So just get the standard aluminum upgrade? I know the v2 f104 uses the rm01 rear pod. I wasn't sure which the f1r uses
