Tire tweak traction
Noticed that Tire tweak is pretty much the norm for the majority of asphalt track races. I've used these tire tweaks on two asphalt tracks and they just don't seem to work for me. No turn in and pushes excessively. Can somebody enlighten me on how to properly used these tire traction. Thanks.

With tyre tweek I have found you can either put it on and let it sit for a while then wype it off with a clean rag until it's tacky dry, or if your in a hurry you can bake it on with tyre warmers at 60deg C then again wipe it off until dry and tacky.
With either way make sure you clean the tyres properly to remove any dirt or residue from the previous run. I use motor spray and a clean bit of rag and make sure the tyres are not greasy.
At the reedy race I used the second method with the tyre warmers and grip was never really a problem.

Anyone know who makes this shell, and what shell it is? I'm referring to the orange and white one.

what was the hand out tires at the race? how are they compared to 28r sorex tires. my friend gave me 28 r sorex tires for xmas and im abit worried that it is not the right tire for our tracks. we race on concrete (cement) tracks and we usually use 40r tires. im curious what the handout tire were because ambient temps in thailand is very similar to ours here in the phiulippines. maybe a couple of degress different though.
