Advice on OFNA DM-1 options

Advice on OFNA DM-1 options
Hi Folks,
I've been out searching for the best solution to get me to a brushless 1/7th scale OFNA DM-1. Do any of these options make more sense than others:
1_ Buy the DM-1 nitro kit for ~500.00 and use the RC-Monster stuff to convert.
2_ Buy the DM-1 nitro kit for ~500.00 and wait/pray someone, somewhere wants to get rid of their Tekno conversion kit.
3_ Buy the ~260.00 1/8th scale DM-1 Spec E, and use the chassis, body shell and driveline from the DM-1 Nitro kit to get me to 1/7th scale. Not sure if the DM-1 e spec has all of the same quality parts of the DM-1; and if the only difference is the chassis, chassis brace and driveline.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
