What did you have to sand down? Mine went together great with no hang ups.

One thing I didnt like about it was the turn buckles. They are very small. I ended up investing in some Lunsford turn buckles. These arent really needed... just a convenience for the setup board.
will be driving my Photon this weekend along with the E4RSll and will decide what I like better. As of now... I'm leaning on the Black Magic

For Jamison: Fastest lap with the car was 10.2.
Does the kit go with fluids as well? I mean diff oil and shock oil? And how many bars they put there? Only one 1.2 and 1.4? Or more?

You've got some work to do, Phil. Ran 9.8 today. Everyone said your car looked real good. You'll have to let me take some laps with it Saturday.

The kit comes with diff fluids (ft..50000, rear...1000). Shock fluid was ft...40 and rear 35 with stock springs. The diffs have one bar... not sure what the size is. I will check when I rebuild.

Could be an indicator of where TM is heading with everything, not all that surprising given the brand barely is still even there.

So much Team Magic hate.... you had no issues when you had your G4JS. Your beloved MTX5 isn't perfect and it is quite a bit more expensive then a TM product and what people determine a quality product of Japan.

My 2 cents!

Had to sand down a little of the backs of the gears in the diffs because they were not meshing correctly but that dosent happen through every kit

E4RSll won both the 17.5 Blinky A-main and B-main. Your truely got the A-main. I'm sure some of the guys had better race days than today... but its the way the way the cookie crumbled. Any issues I had on the track was form the driver... ot the car. Vids should be posted on Debbies RC World later this evening. I started in last place and running the TM body.

Congrats Phil . Team magics were dialed today. It woulda been a 1-2 finish if my qualifying efforts weren't terrible.
