Happy Birthday Bud!! You look good.

I used to race with Bud a lot all around the country back in the 80s. I remember a really close race Bud and I had with 1/12th scale at the Ranch Pit Shop in SoCal....he won. He probably doesn't remember....I think it was the B main at the Trinity Shoot Out. It was a cool race between us though.

Bud also won the Pro Race at the Thunderdrome one year. A very popular win for Bud and well deserved.

Glad you're still racing...so am I.

Gary McAllister

Cake looks yummy...LOL

The RC 100 complete with solid axial and three piece metal fuel tank that you soldered together. Then the 100D (it had a diff) Chassis flex was via a hack saw. Cut to much it broke!

Great days mid 70's

I have two PR7s I am trying to restore. Any chassies out there? Both were run over while in my pit bag. I will trace them out if I have to but, if there are any others out there, I'm interested.

Ouch, good luck with that one. I havent seen a PR7 show up anywhere in quite a while, much less parts for one. I'd like to see pics though.

Boy this brings back memories I raced at E&L Raceway from 1987 to the time Eddy and Linda closed that location down. My last race in San Diego was the 1993 NORRCA onroad nationals at the Naval Training Center San Diego I finished First Place C-Main thanks to Roy Powell if anyone has the podium photos from that race could you post them?.
I got out of RC racing in 1993 and started again at E Team Hobbyplex (Carpet Track) in Fort Collins Colorado in 2011 and have been having a blast.
