I think my dad has that exact jacket, its a few sizes bigger but still looks like an addidas training shoe with buttons and those terrible itchy collar and stripey cuffs.

Serious Jeff George mullet and 'stache though Bob.

That photo pretty much reminds me of the dudes I hung around when I first got into racing, I was just a little kid but my dad was good at making friends pretty quickly, so I got in with the local fast dudes. They were rock n roll .

That MRP Trucker hat is fresh, I don't care what anyone says

Andy stopped by TQ last month, said he was excited to start some new projects.

Expect to see new stuff from him, not just the old stuff

I'm really looking forward to that...Andy made some of the best scale looking and well handling pan car bodies around. The short tail 956/962 was beautiful in 1/10th scale...not sure if he ever did it in 1/12th but if so I'd put one on my car for sure.

I know he did AWESOME Toyota, and Jaguar short-tails. I ran both at one time or another.

I'd love to see him do a BMW M3 or Jaguar ALMS body for WGT racing.

You know, if I'm honest... the mustache was pretty thin at the time, I was a young buck! and I rocked a proper mullet well past the bitter end, I think right up until about 1998 or so. *sigh*.... I miss that mullet.

Not only is that an MRP trucker hat, but it's being worn by a guy that worked at MRP. you know, I think back then, it was just a hat. I don't think they became known as a trucker hat until late 90's?

I've worked on the administrative side of the trucking industry since '66 or so - and for the most part up 'til the 90's here in the Midwest they were known as 'grain hauler' caps - and the feed/seed brands always had a certain mystique about them.....

R/C caps are what I preferred but never had too many of those... I have a huge collection somewhere.... and quite a few in the top of our coat closet which my wife has recently threatened "put away or put them in the trash - just get them out of the coat closet".... Obviously I prefer to live life in the 'fast lane' and have been ignoring that request......
