Default 100 mph break with my Kyosho Gt

Hy ( sorry for my very very bad english , i'm french )

My name is Yoann and i want break 100 mph with my kyosho GT 1/8

My best speed to date is 83 mph with this setup :

MMM 2200kv
5S 5000mah 45C
Xtra Soft GRP Rally Tires
pinion 30 /spur gear 44 ( mod 1)

Front diff oil 80 000 / center 100 000 / back 30 000

ESC
Timing is on Highest ( max )
Brake is at 30%
Cutoff Voltage: Auto LiPo
Punch no limited
Drag Brake 20%

radio system 2,4Ghz

The car is very stable in my runs but the speed is no good ...

My timing is bad ? my gears are they bad ? or there is something else?

Thanks for reading, and I appreciate any help that anyone can give .

Good luck

PS : this forum is amazing !!!!!

Bump it up to a 6s lipo , watch your temps and you should break 100mph easy , also I'd turn off drag brake it creates excess heat.

ok thank you! I will disable the drag brake.
I also bought a nano-tech Turnigy 6S 5000mAh 90C Lipo ~ 45, I hope it will go!

Timing is on Highest ( 20 ) or pinion 30 /spur gear 44 ( mod 1) it is a good setting ?

It's a bit aggressive but just watch your temps on everything and you should be fine to break the 100mph . That 6s should get you there.

I would try to lighten the drive train as much as possible to,
Center spool, you dont need a diff for speed runs.
Kyosho has the titanium diff pins -http://www.igthobbies.com/KYOSHO-KYOVZW211-TITANIUM-DIFFERENTIAL-SHAFTS_p_1655.html
I am not sure what body your running but I would look for the most aerodynamic as possible

Yep, before everything else, I'd considering optimizing the aerodynamics first. The speed record breakers usually run a custom made body, so you might wanna look into researching vacuum molding.

While it is not recommended by Castle I know of a few people who use the 2650KV motor on 6s for speed runs. Aredynamics is aslo a good idea to look into.

my motor is a 2200kv and not a 2650kv

The 2200 is built to run in 6S

one other thing, turn off lipo cutoff. you should be making only a couple runs at a time. you will pick up speed . I do alot of speed running with 1/10th scale.
