Default TC4 ...used and abused

so my tc4 should be here in the mail tomorrow
the pictures look great but who knows,,,,,if they are even his pics
Im a newbe and looking for info
what would make this car abused?
what parts should i be looking at first to replace?
do these cars do all right in vta? or should i be looking for something else?

Car can work in VTA. Check the chassis for cracks or splitting along the edges. If you see any, you can seal with CA glue. Check the diffs to make certain they are smooth. Also look at center drive shaft for damage. Bearings may need cleaning or replacing depending on how it was taken care of by previous owner.

The TC4 (and 3 for that matter) is an excellent choice for VTA. I know 1/2 of the fastest guys here run TC4's in VTA. Like olly said check the outdrives for wear, you'll probably want to rebuild the diff's and shocks after you get it. Don't over tighten the front diff when you rebuild it or you'll end up shearing the head off the middle bolt.
