Thumbs up HK 2560kv

has anyone tried the Hobbyking 2650kv version?
I hear that motor has more poles than the castle version and gives more torque and runs cooler....
and about 55bucks!

I have not. I am a firm believer in that you get what you pay for.

Does anyone know if the IPANEMA Wide 49mm tires will fit on the front of a DM1 Spec e? I know it will fit in the front but not sure would it be okay for the front too.

thanks!

Default How fast for a Ofna DM-1 Spec e car

Just curious as to how fast my Ofna DM-1 Spec e car should theoretically go with the following equipment: Castle 2200kv motor combo,Thunder Power 6s 6600 mAh 65c battery,Sweep EXP belted tires, stock gearing(13/49).generally speaking?! Thanks.

Maybe if you re-wrote your post, you may get more responses,as it is now, very confusing. I THINK I know what you are asking, but not 100% sure. Thanks

Thanks, I used that for my Rustler to figure out how fast it's capable of.but not sure what numbers to punch in for differential gear ratio, transmission gear ratio for the Ofna? Can I use Ofna Ultra GP drop down values?....maybe they are the same for my DM-1?
I get 46.61 mph.....that seems a little low?!??Thanks.

If you're asking if they will fit on the front, the answer is yes. However you won't be able to turn as your wheels will scrub.

LOL..
I know someone who is running the HK2560kv 6 pole motor in his EMaxx and says it out runs the CC1512 2650kv motor he had in it.. plus it runs cooler and uses less amps

Nothing wrong with HK stuff or teying to save a buck, but when/if it blows you are done. No sending it to castle and get a new one for $50 repair fee. Also a 1512 is too small for an Emaxx,

so after running my new dm1 e , i have to say I'm pretty happy overall with it. i was a little skeptical at first, i had to ditch the stock tires and rims cause i blew the foams out. but i pick up a set of sweep pre mounts and the car handles decent. was wonder what everybody is doing to these cars? as in setup or hop ups?

Just curious as to what you are using for a motor combo and battery. Have you tried different gearing yet, other than stock(13/49)? Thanks,Huck50
